it 's probably a long shot, but are there plans to make an OWS version to develop applications running outside a windows environment (independent of IIS, DNN, .net)? It would be thrilling to be able to use OWS to build applications running on a MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment.

In my opinion, OWS is so powerful that the DNN framework rather gets ballast instead of added value. It just drives me mad that I need to consider installing a full blown windows server to be able to use OWS for intranet applications.
