I think it would be good to move in this direction. Imagine your script list where the mini-forms are displayed in the list. This could lead to some very advanced functionality and greatly improve productivity. It would reduce the need for scrolling.

Interesting idea!

That is the interface the quickbuilder makes. I've been trying for a long time to get the UI changed so it is more like google's gmail. The entire list disappears when you click edit and makes for a much larger edit window. Save/Cancel would just return us to the list as it was. I think some of the action items - the ones that do not need big edit areas could do what you're suggesting.

The smaller edit items such as action or If statements would be corespondingly smaller. I wanted to add one but the edit you see took me a while.

The edit would be displayed in-line just below the item being edited, instead of always down at the bottom of the screen.

You can enlarge the edit window, btw, by hitting ctrl+down arrow.

Just so I'm clear: I think this would be a brilliant addition. The editing of the actions in a module are like editing code in notepad. I can edit any line at anytime and save the entire thing at once. So opening an edit region for each of several action lines would be a great time saver!

I just don't think it's normal for a typical data entry app - like the stuff I'm using the quickbuilder for!! :)

I'm not entirely sure how much difference this would make. I may be misunderstanding it but is the difference here to have the editing window appear within the code list instead of beneath it?

What I'd really like to see with the editing window is a full screen button, like the TextEditor has... to quickly expand it to full screen and back.
